The iExcel Program Become Entrepreneurs
The iExcel program is trying to increase their student’s vocational opportunities by creating them in school. Friday was their first entrepreneurial attempt at a flower stand.
Over the spring and summer, students planted and grew sunflowers. This week our students picked and prepped sunflowers to be sold. The flowers were sold to the student body and staff.
The program made $44.60. This money will be reinvested into future vocational opportunities. The students also made $24.25 in tips. The students have agreed to save their tips until they reach $100 and then they will use the money to go out to lunch.
