Welcome, Hero the Hornet

We received lots of great suggestions from students for the name of our Hornet mascot. A fifth grader, Sadie Mitchell, suggested “Hero” as the name because her father, Michael, told her that back in the 80s when he went to Hatherly School, they were known as the Hatherly Heroes! We couldn’t resist the history lesson here and the opportunity to have this connection to the past.
