Preparing for the Kindergarten Registration Process

Welcome to the Kindergarten online registration process, which will be available on February 14th at 9 AM. Scituate Public Schools offers Full-Day Kindergarten for children who are 5 years old on or before September 8, 2025. *The Scituate School Committee recently updated this cut-off date.

Completing the Developmental History Form

The Developmental History Form is required for students entering Kindergarten. The form is a writable PDF that offers you the option of saving it to your computer, where you can complete the form, then save, and finally upload it when prompted while completing the online registration (see Online Registration below).

If your child currently attends the Early Childhood Center program, you only need to complete the Developmental History Form.

Required Registration Documentation For All New Students

Gather digital copies, either scanned or photographed, of required documents. During the online registration process, you will be prompted to upload the required document files listed below.  Registrations submitted without all required documents will be returned so that missing documents can be added and then resubmitted. Please see the Required Documentation page for details of Residency and Occupancy requirements.

2. Copy of Birth Certificate
3. Copy of Current Immunization Record and most recent physical, including Lead levels. 
4. Proof of Residency
5. Proof of Occupancy
6. Copy of Parent Identification
