Valentine’s Day Reminder

If your child’s class is exchanging Valentine’s cards: 

  • Please make sure that no candy or food is contained in the cards.
  • We need to ensure a safe and fun experience for all students.

Jenkins PTO Playground Project Update

  • Congratulations to the Jenkins PTO for successfully presenting the play structure replacement project to the Community Preservation Committee (CPC) on January 30, 2023
  • Jo Wislocki (Co-Chair), Shannon Buchannan (Co-Chair) and Anne McCracken (Treasurer) are leading the project funding process.
  • $440,000 application for CPC funding was unanimously approved
  • Two more approvals are needed prior to the April, 2023 Town Meeting vote
  • Fundraising efforts are being planned to raise $40,000 in contributions from Jenkins families.

Teachers recognize students from their homeroom for monthly theme.

Every Jenkins student will receive a Shark Award this school year.

ST Math Jiji the Penguin

  • Each month, classes earn Jiji the Penguin for completing minutes and solving puzzles.
  • In January, the three classes that spent the most minutes on ST MATH were Mrs. Don's First-grade class (293 minutes), Mrs. LaMountain's Third-grade class (253 minutes), and Mrs. Duffy's Fifth-grade class (399 minutes).
  • Mrs. Don"s class won the raffle for the most puzzles solved (375) and earned an extra recess.  
  • Congratulations and job well done to all!
