Irish Exchange Students Arrive in Scituate

Scituate High School has welcomed a group of 14 students from West Cork Ireland for a 10 day student exchange. The Scituate Public Schools has partnered with the Scituate West Cork Sister City Committee to plan the first ever Irish Exchange. Last March, 16 students from SHS traveled to West Cork and stayed with families while also attending school and learning about the Irish Culture. This Fall, we were excited to welcome our Irish Exchange students to Scituate for 10 fun filled days! Students attend class at SHS and then they explore the South Shore and surrounding areas. A big thank you to the Sister City Committee, our SHS student hosts and our host families.
