Nate Butler Student Spotlight

Meet 5th grader, Nate Butler! Earlier this year, Nate visited with Mrs. Sheahan to let her know that he wanted our LIT team to have sweatshirts and he had already taken the initiative to design a logo for them.

  • With the help of our DEI Director, jamele adams, we received funds to provide LIT sweatshirts to all of our schools! Our LIT advisor (and Occupational Therapist, of course), Mrs. Nyberg, and our physical education teacher, Mr. Puzzangara helped Nate streamline the design and found a vendor to make the sweatshirts.
  • The design of the sweatshirt included the established district-wide LIT logo for the front, and the names of all of the schools on the back.
  • Nate Butler contributed to the sleeve design, the emblem.

We love to see our Hatherly students using their talents for a good cause! Such a great way to spread love, inclusion, and trust!
