Scituate Social Worker

The mission of the Town of Scituate Social Service Office is to provide information and referral, assessment, consultation, short-term case management, advocacy and access to resources and services to residents of the Town of Scituate.

Scituate Food Pantry

The Scituate Food Pantry is an independent, all-volunteer nonprofit and tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. No funding is received from the town of Scituate, the state of Massachusetts, or the federal government.

Scituate Alliance of Natural Disaster Services (SANDS)

The mission of SANDS Helps is to bring together community, government, faith based organizations, business and volunteers committed to making their community become more prepared, resilient and self-sufficient. Together, members will enhance Scituate’s ability to mitigate, prepare, respond and recover from disasters thus ensuring that our neighbor’s needs compromised in a disaster are evaluated and addressed. 

Scituate Community Christmas

Scituate Community Christmas was founded to meet the needs of the Scituate community at Christmastime and throughout the year by supporting families during times of hardship while inspiring the values of kindness, compassion, philanthropy and volunteerism. 

Mass 2-1-1

Mass 211 is an easy to remember telephone number that connects callers to information about critical health and human services available in their community. It serves as a resource for finding government benefits and services, nonprofit organizations, support groups, volunteer opportunities, donation programs, and other local resources. 

South Shore Peer Recovery

South Shore Peer Recovery provides support for people in recovery and their loved ones at the center in Scituate and at satellite locations across the South Shore. Programs offer opportunities for support, skill building and volunteerism to help create a strong recovery community.

Scituate FACTS engages the community to reduce teen drinking and underage substance use in Scituate.

Scituate Commission on Disabilities

The Commission on Disabilities strives to ensure the full integration and participation of people with disabilities in the Town of Scituate.
