Hands-on Science at Bournedale!
During their week at Camp Bournedale, students in grade 6 have wonderful opportunities to engage in a variety of activities related to science and engineering. In the Marine lab they learn about anatomy and marine biology including performing a shark dissection. Students also participate in Adventure class where they get to experience geocaching. There are also rocketry lessons and a reptile and amphibian lesson. These highly engaging lessons and experiences have a lasting impact on students and it’s very exciting to hear them talk about all they learned while there!
